OVERVIEW
At Rain City Water Polo, we actively participate in tournaments throughout the year, providing valuable opportunities for our players to apply their training, foster team cohesion, and ignite their passion for water polo. These tournaments include local events and those involving travel, ensuring a diverse range of competitive experiences for our athletes. We highly recommend that athletes participate in our league and all scrimmage opportunities to get ready for tournaments.

REGISTRATION AND ROSTER - SECURING YOUR SPOT
To secure a spot on the tournament roster, athletes must complete registration through Team Snap by the designated deadline and put down a deposit of $50. The remainder of the cost will be spread over installment payments that are specific to the tournament you are registering for. Once registered, you will receive an email confirming your acceptance on the roster.

FEES AND INCLUSIONS
Tournament fees, coaching costs, and other club expenses are included in tournament registration fees.

For local tournaments, or travel tournaments where travel does not require flights, responsibility for travel to and from the tournament site is typically the responsibility of the athlete.

For tournaments that require flights and/or overnight accommodations, flight and hotel costs are typically coordinated by the club and included in tournament registration fees.

Local transportation for travel tournaments that involve flights to and from the tournament location is typically provided by the club and included in tournament registration fees.

Meals and other travel expenses are typically the responsibility of the athlete.

CLUB CHAPERONES FOR TRAVEL TOURNAMENTS
For multi-day travel tournaments, the club provides team chaperones. Chaperones are all Safe Sport certified, and provide team oversight as required by Safe Sport. For more information about Safe Sport, see here. Athletes are expected to both exhibit acceptable behavior and comply with chaperones. Continued participation in club activities is contingent on both, and at the discretion of the club.
